Limited Range of Motion
Limited range of motion is reduced ability to move a joint through its normal arc. Causes include joint problems, muscle problems, scarring, and neurologic disorders.

- Injury (sprain, fracture, dislocation)
- Arthritis
- Frozen shoulder
- Contractures
- Muscle spasm or strain
- Surgical scarring
- Neurologic disorders
Treatment
- Treat underlying cause
- Physical therapy and stretching
- Heat/cold
- Pain management
- Sometimes surgery
