Reporting an error
Corrections are the most useful thing you can send us. To help us act quickly, please include:
- The page address (URL)
- The sentence or section that is wrong or unclear
- What you think it should say, and a source if you have one (for example, a page from MedlinePlus, the CDC, the NHS or a medical society guideline)
We review every report. Confirmed errors are corrected as soon as we can, and the "updated" date on the page changes. See how our guides are written for more about our editorial process.
Suggesting a topic
If you looked for a symptom or condition and could not find it, tell us what you searched for and what you hoped to learn. Before writing, you may want to search the site or check the sitemap, as many topics appear under a different name.
Advertising and sponsored content
iSymptom's ads are served automatically by Google AdSense. We do not sell ad space directly, and we do not accept sponsored articles, paid links or payment to mention a product or service. Please do not send requests for guest posts or link placements.
What to expect
- We read every message, but we may not be able to reply to all of them individually.
- We aim to reply to privacy requests within the time required by applicable law (see our privacy policy).
- Please do not include personal health information, such as diagnoses, symptoms or test results, in your email. If you do, we will not use it for any purpose other than replying, and we will not keep it longer than needed.
