  • Limited cutaneous (CREST) — skin involvement of hands, face; calcinosis, Raynaud's, esophageal dysmotility, sclerodactyly, telangiectasias
  • Diffuse cutaneous — extensive skin involvement, more lung/kidney/heart risk

Treatment

  • Raynaud's: calcium channel blockers, lifestyle
  • Skin: emollients, immunosuppressants
  • Lung disease: immunosuppressants, antifibrotics
  • Renal crisis: ACE inhibitors (essential)
  • GI: acid suppression, prokinetics
  • Pulmonary hypertension treatment
