Waldenström Macroglobulinemia
Waldenström macroglobulinemia is a rare slow-growing type of non-Hodgkin lymphoma in which abnormal cells produce excessive amounts of IgM antibody. The condition can cause hyperviscosity, anemia, and neuropathy.

Diagnosis
- Blood tests showing high IgM
- Bone marrow biopsy
- MYD88 mutation testing
- Imaging
Treatment
- Watch and wait for asymptomatic patients
- BTK inhibitors (ibrutinib, zanubrutinib)
- Rituximab-based chemotherapy
- Plasmapheresis for severe hyperviscosity
