Lipedema

Lipedema is a chronic disorder of fat tissue, almost always in women, causing symmetric enlargement of the legs (and sometimes arms) with pain and tenderness. It is distinct from obesity and lymphedema.

  • Liposuction (tumescent or water-jet assisted) — increasingly used
